Farewell Arlene

The world lost a wonderful person and champion for humanity yesterday. My dear friend Arlene passed away after a long illness.

She was a tough cookie and stayed involved with the community until the end, helping out where she could. She was an unstoppable force. Always eager to encourage, nurture and praise a person, Arlene wouldn’t allow you to slack off in anyway that she thought was below your potential. She made this world a happier place for me and countless others, many who never met her.  That’s what volunteerism and involvement in your community can do. Thanks Arlene.
