Sprung

Spring is sprangin’ here at last. Took the dog for a walk through the neighborhood yesterday and brought my camera with me. There’s a tree over on Westover that knocks my socks off every year, it’s a weeping cherry I think.

The magical tree

It looks like it belongs in some elven wood somewhere in middle earth.

My neighbors Nan and John also have an early spring knockout. I look forward to it popping each spring. Last year, the phone company  came out and hacked it up, so I was worried that it might be a little less spectacular this year. Wrong. What a lovely thing to wake up to each morning.

If you’re thinking it’s all pink and white at this time of year, I’ll show you some of the forsythia that’s blooming everywhere. I took this photo around the corner from Lumina Wine and Beer owners, Tim and Em’s

Wall of Yellow

place. There’s an old tobacco barn in the woods behind this wall of yellow but I couldn’t get a succesful shot of it.

Have a great spring!
