Old Crow, New Crow

I’m preparing a second attempt at my next scratchboard project. I’ve just laid the ink down for a crow. The first attempt failed rather miserably, I’m afraid.

I wound up scratching away until I hit the masonite below the clay. Oh well… art is a fleeting and temporal thang.

It’s funny, at one end of my drawing table (a monstrously huge, green, ink-spattered, x-acto scarred relic from my sordid past) I’ve got a little corner littered

Old Crow

with old stickers. This one is from an old “wacky pack”. Looks like it was prophetic.

That strange looking thing on the left is a Linocut.
