Firedog

Working on a t-shirt design today for a Firehouse in (I think) Texas. The guy who requested it, Marc Phillips is an author who I’d dome some cartoons for in the past. Now, he’s graduating from fire fighter II academy and wants a “firedogs” shirt for him and his crew.

It reminds me of some of the tattoo flash art I did while back in the Marine Corps!

You know, now that I look at it, I can see I’ve dislocated his elbow on the left! Back to the drawring boord.

Also doing some logo work today while inking and coloring the original cartoon from last weeks Dixie Drive.

laying the color down

This week’s cartoon will need to have something to do with chili. There’s a cookoff this weekend and I’m gonna be one of the judges. Come on down to Asheboro next Saturday and say hello!
