Black Magic

Well, it must be Tuesday because I’m finally getting around to inking my Dixie Drive cartoon. I’ve been doing the panel for the Courier-Tribune here in Asheboro for a little over a year now and I still haven’t run out of

Inking Dixie Drive

material. Hmmmm. The Cartoon is a look at our little small, southern town (and the south in general) from the point of view of a transplant…me. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy it here very much and the folks are great but there are some CHARACTERS here in the south. Believe me.

You can check the cartoons out on Facebook or visit Dixie Drive’s Site!

By the way, I ink using Black Magic India ink, usually on Herculene Film laid over my original pencil (but not always!).
